Removable Middle Girth Straps – Dressage

Removable middle girth straps are a fitting element integrated into all Ikonic dressage saddles.

They are not intended for systematic use but allow the girthing setup to be adapted to each horse’s needs. Depending on the balance required, the middle strap can be removed to favour the front girth strap and optimise saddle stability.

All Ikonic dressage saddles are supplied with these straps already installed.

This product is a replacement spare part, intended to replace an existing strap (wear, damage, or loss), not an additional accessory.

Compatible with all Ikonic dressage saddles.

🧽 Care Instructions – Girth Straps

The girth straps are made from chrome-tanned leather, selected for its strength and durability.

To preserve their qualities, it is important not to over-condition the leather: excessive use of grease or oil may overly soften it and reduce its long-term resistance.

Regular cleaning with a mild glycerine soap, using a slightly damp sponge, is usually sufficient.

Always allow to dry naturally, away from any direct heat source, and check the condition of the girth straps regularly.

In case of wear or doubt, have them checked or replaced by a professional.

Yes. Saddle trials are organized through authorized IKONIC dealers and fitters.

IKONIC saddles include a 5-year warranty on the saddle tree and a 2-year warranty on leather and stitching. Coverage applies exclusively to manufacturing defects (not normal wear, scratches, accidental damage, misuse, or improper maintenance).

Clean the leather regularly after use to preserve its quality. Store the saddle in a dry environment, away from excessive heat or humidity, on an appropriate saddle rack. For wool-flocked saddles, schedule regular fit evaluations with an authorized fitter.

Please contact the dealer through whom you placed your order. They have direct access to your order status and tracking details through their dealer dashboard.

The gullet can be changed yourself using the Allen key supplied with the saddle. However, we recommend having an authorized saddle fitter handle the adjustment, both for the gullet and for the wool flocking in the panels, to ensure a correct fit for your horse.
