Fergal Holohan
Dob 18/12/06
Born into an equestrian family, his father from Dublin in Ireland, a former professional national hunt jockey and Mother from Scotland, showjumped. Fergal began riding when he was 5 as he took a keen interest in the yard and wanted a pony. Being keen on various sports, it was showjumping that took hold of Fergal early on. He has since produced many ponies and horses taking them through the ranks from novice to grand prix. His first major win was the hickstead JC final on Little Flexible, also qualifying and placing her in 3 championships at the horse of the year show. His ambition at this time was to compete on a nations cup team and has since been selected on 3 teams on his homebred mare, Kan Annie and Karima, who he has been having good placings in grand prix already this year. His ambitious goals are set again higher, and with his calm assured style and commitment to his horses and training, it will be interesting to see what he achieves this year.
