The Ikonic “Light” JHY02 H-Plus is a modern jumping saddle combining quality leathers and technical materials to deliver precision, comfort and stability.
Equipped with 100% wool flocked panels, it ensures excellent pressure distribution and long-term adaptability to the horse’s back. It also integrates the removable front panel block JHY02H-PB, allowing fine adjustment of the saddle balance.
The saddle is supplied as standard with the Medium thickness panel block, corresponding to the most versatile setup.
The leg blocks are available in adjustable velcro or fixed blocks with a preformed forward flap, allowing the saddle to adapt to the rider’s position and preferences.
Fully customizable through our configurator, it allows the creation of a saddle perfectly suited to the horse–rider combination.
Equipped with an interchangeable gullet system, the saddle offers optimal flexibility to adapt to the horse’s changing shape and make saddle fitting easier over time.
Technical Information & Maintenance
100% Wool Panels
The saddle panels are fully flocked with natural wool, a key technical feature that allows the saddle to adapt optimally to the horse’s back.
A wool panel is a cushion that needs time to settle. When a saddle is new, the wool is still dense and evenly distributed throughout the entire length of the panel. As a result, the saddle may initially appear slightly higher or somewhat lifted away from the horse’s back.
👉 This is completely normal.
From the very first rides, the movement of the horse and the rider’s weight allow the wool to settle and conform to the horse’s shape. The difference between a saddle observed at rest and one used in motion can be noticeable within the first few minutes of riding.
Over time, the wool will gradually compress and redistribute according to the actual pressure points. Although the amount of wool is initially uniform, certain areas may evolve differently. This characteristic enables precise and customized fitting but requires regular monitoring.
👉 An inspection by a qualified saddle fitter is strongly recommended, particularly during the first months of use of a new saddle. An adjustment may be necessary after a few months to ensure optimal and long-lasting fit.
Care Instructions
Before First Use
Apply a light coat of suitable leather oil to nourish, soften, and protect all leather components.
Routine Maintenance
Moderate oiling is recommended once or twice a year, depending on the frequency of use.
⚠️ Excessive oiling can weaken the leather fibers, while insufficient conditioning may cause the leather to dry out and age prematurely.
Regular Cleaning
Clean the saddle regularly with glycerin soap to remove sweat, dust, and dirt residues that may damage the leather over time.
Synthetic Parts
Synthetic components should not be treated with leather oils, balms, or conditioners, as these products may damage their surface.
To clean them, simply use a damp sponge and mild soap
