The removable front girth straps are a fitting element integrated into Ikonic dressage saddles. They are not intended to be used systematically, but allow the girthing setup to be adapted to the specific needs of each horse.
All Ikonic dressage saddles are supplied as standard with these girth straps already installed. Their removable design offers additional flexibility during fitting: depending on the balance required, it is for example possible to favour a more forward girthing position by using the front girth strap and removing the middle one. This modularity makes it possible to optimise saddle stability without constraint, only when necessary.
The item offered here is a replacement spare part. It is intended to replace an existing girth strap (due to wear, damage or loss) and is not an accessory that needs to be purchased in addition, as the saddle is already equipped as standard.

🧽 Care Instructions – Girth Straps
The girth straps are made from chrome-tanned leather, selected for its strength and durability.
To preserve their qualities, it is important not to over-condition the leather: excessive use of grease or oil may overly soften it and reduce its long-term resistance.
Regular cleaning with a mild glycerine soap, using a slightly damp sponge, is usually sufficient.
Always allow to dry naturally, away from any direct heat source, and check the condition of the girth straps regularly.
In case of wear or doubt, have them checked or replaced by a professional.
