100% Wool Panels
The saddle panels are entirely filled with natural wool, a key technical choice to ensure proper adaptation to the horse’s back.
A wool panel is a cushion that needs time to settle. When a saddle is new, the wool is still full and evenly distributed throughout the panel. As a result, the saddle may initially appear slightly higher or a little away from the horse’s back.
👉 This is completely normal.
From the first strides, under the effect of the horse’s movement and the rider’s weight, the wool begins to settle and conform to the shape of the back. The difference between a saddle placed at rest and one used in motion can be noticeable within the first minutes.
With use, the wool gradually compresses and redistributes according to real pressure zones. Although the wool quantity is uniform at the beginning, some areas may evolve differently. This allows precise adaptation but requires regular monitoring.
👉 A check by a saddle fitter is strongly recommended, especially during the first months of use of a new saddle. An adjustment may be necessary after a few months to ensure long-term optimal fit.
Saddle Care
To preserve the quality and longevity of your saddle, daily cleaning after each ride using a suitable glycerine soap is essential.
Sweat, dust and residues accelerate leather wear if not removed regularly.
This saddle is made from leather that is already deeply nourished, offering natural suppleness from the start.
Leather requires a balanced supply of oils to age properly: insufficient care may dry it out, while excess oil can affect its structure and stability.
Oiling should therefore remain occasional (once or twice a year, depending on usage and climate).
A new saddle may receive a light oiling upon delivery, and possibly again after a few months of use if necessary.
⚠️ Always apply oil sparingly and only on clean leather.
Regular and balanced care ensures flexibility, comfort and long-lasting performance of your saddle.
